Scientific and medical educator, editor, writer and author.
I decided a long time ago to do what you love. Life is too short for anything else. I love science, more specifically biological science and whatever branches and adaptations of it I can get my hands on. Plus I LOVE a good story.
My fascination with the human body has governed much of my professional and personal life. From my degree and PhD, what I teach, what I write about, even the art I hang on my walls.
Understanding complex elements and creating a comprehensive, yet simple and concise written pieces are my goal. Let me help get your information out there for all to see and understand.
Cups of Coffee
You never know where life will take you and mine has led me a funny route. After struggling to find work in the beautiful area of North Devon, and realising as a family we didn’t want to leave, I found plumbing.
There’s a story behind it, but that can be told elsewhere. Suprisingly for everyone my new plumbing career is slowly blossoming and the learning that I loved from academia has been carried forward into this new industry. And if you love something you should write about it!
“Anatomy is destiny.”
Sigmund Freud said that!
Academic, scientific and medical articles and papers. Podcast scripts, textbook material, copyediting and proofreading.
I have been known to explore non-scientific material and have recently completed copyediting the memoirs of a gentleman who had an incredible life.
